Hello, I am Marc
Web creative. Wonderer. Geek. Pictorial semiotician. Human(e) being. I make stuff.
Inside Wants Out
It’s all in my head — that is why I create, code and compose. Icon design, pixel art, HTML5/CSS3, JavaScript and chiptunes are my pet passions. I get things done using Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, Sketch, Brackets, nanoloop and a whole lot of imagination.

App Icons are all about marketing and meaning. Thus aesthetics and clarity are key factors in good icon design.

It’s Oh So Lo-Res
I love pixels. They are the link to my childhood with all those lo-res heroes, like Bubble Bobble, Nebulus, The Great Giana Sisters or Super Metroid.
See more on my tumblr blog. I own a zoo of megapixel animals, too.
Bleepy 8bit Pop
I’ve been making music since the early 1980s. My love for chiptunes began on a friend’s C64. It grew on my own A500, where I started creating computer music myself using TFMX and ProTracker. Currently, my favourite tools are nanoloop for iOS and SunVox for os X. Occasionally I’m doing pieces for the piano.
